When brothers Kwaku Otchere and Kwabena Otchere founded Vipass, they set out to transform the way people experience live events. Drawing on Kwaku’s background as a senior software engineer at companies such as Apple, Verizon, and Nokia, and Kwabena’s experience as a leader and motivational figure in the entertainment and business sectors, the two envisioned a platform that blended technology, community, and user-first design. Their goal was to create an app that made every event—whether a concert, summit, or festival—feel immersive, connected, and intelligently managed.
We began working with the Vipass team just under a year ago, when the company was still in its infancy. Our mission was to help shape the go-to-market strategy, build brand credibility from the ground up, and prepare the company to attract investors. The focus from day one was to position Vipass not just as another ticketing tool but as a next-generation event-tech solution driven by AI, analytics, and human experience.
Vipass functions as both a ticketing and engagement platform, integrating AI-based security verification, real-time event metrics for promoters, and interactive features that enhance the experience for attendees. The platform gives event organizers deeper insight into their audiences while giving guests a seamless, personalized experience before, during, and after each event.
To introduce the brand to the market, we led two high-impact activation campaigns that demonstrated Vipass’s technology in real-world use. The first was a New Year’s Eve event in Prague, where Vipass handled all ticketing and event-management logistics through its app. This was the company’s debut—its proof of concept—and it allowed both event organizers and attendees to experience the platform’s full capabilities, from ticketing and check-in to on-site engagement. The event showcased how the platform’s design makes navigation intuitive while leveraging its AI-driven features for crowd flow and security.
The second major milestone came with the Global Africa Summit, which included three large-scale events—two in the United States and one in Ghana. Vipass served as the exclusive ticketing and event-management partner, providing complete backend metrics and user engagement data. These partnerships not only expanded Vipass’s visibility but also accelerated user growth dramatically, helping the app grow from zero to more than 7,000 subscribers in less than a year.
While building product credibility, we also focused on developing brand authority for the founders. Kwaku’s professional background and thought leadership became key assets in investor relations and public positioning. We optimized his LinkedIn presence and created a narrative that reflected both his technical pedigree and his forward-thinking vision for event technology. Meanwhile, Kwabena’s leadership and motivational approach added depth to the brand story, highlighting the team’s authenticity and drive.
To further legitimize Vipass in the eyes of investors, we developed a comprehensive press kit, core messaging framework, and visual identity package—including brand imagery, tone, and communication guidelines. We secured press coverage for key events, positioning Vipass as a rising player in the event-tech space with a strong international footprint.
These coordinated efforts culminated in the current seed-round investor campaign, where Vipass is now positioned as a fast-growing, high-potential startup. The company’s combination of technology, experiential design, and leadership credibility has drawn attention from investors seeking innovative solutions in live-event engagement and analytics.
In under a year, Vipass evolved from an idea into a functioning platform with measurable traction, strategic partnerships, and an emerging brand identity. The success of its early activations and user growth demonstrates the power of pairing robust technology with authentic storytelling and strategic positioning. Today, Vipass is poised for its next phase—scaling globally as a dynamic, AI-driven experience ecosystem that connects attendees, organizers, and communities in new and meaningful ways.
